position of cervix?

So I started bleeding the 1st and I'm still bleeding today. Yesterday I checked my cervix and it was really open like I could fit my finger in (yes I know tmi) so I checked again today and it's still open. My cervix is really high and soft. I called the dr yesterday and she said keep an eye on it for some reason. Anyone have an idea what's going on? Any input that can help me figure out what's going on is greatly appreciated.
