Implantation or early period?

I'm 7.5 months post partum and my period has been right on for the past 4 months. I'm about 5 days away from af, and a few hours ago I noticed a tiny spot of brown discharge. I haven't had much more since then, but I'm having some, and I'm cramping. I didn't have implantation bleeding with my last pregnancy, so I'm just not sure what this is, and when can I take a test?

Hi jenniferose88,

Generally, it's advised to test on the day AF is due or past the day you first miss it (around 14 DPO onwards).
