Question

Need Hope! Negative before positive - how common?

I used an OPK and pinpointed my ovulation. I am not 10 DPO. I took a First Response test on 8DPO and 9DPO. I am really down, because this is the last month we can try so if I am not pregnant, that is it for us. How many women have tested a got a clear negative, been disappointed, only to have your hopes confirmed later? Please let me know, so I can feel some hope, or just give up. I KNOW I should wait until missing a period - but after all this work, and feeling preggo, my patience is thin.

Wait a few more days, 9-10 DPO is early.

9-10 DPO is very early. Only a small percentage of women have a (usually faint) second line ont heir test. Try again in a couple of days....

(Though I'm the first to say: I myself can never wait that long...)
