It really depends on your cycle length. My doctor advised to start using OPKs at CD11. I have a 32 day cycle (usually) and I have been ovulating around CD 18 or 19. I am guessing most people (with shorter cycles) ovulate on day 14 or 15.

My cycles have been irregular for 2 years now, anywhere from 32-67 days so I have no idea how long my cycle could be :/

1st month I did not ovulate took it on cd 5-9 50mg ---2nd month I took 50mg on 3-7 I had a +opk on cd 12 I am 17dpo getting bfn's and still no af so now wondering if I even o'ed grrr very aggervating gl2u :-)

Also af is very irregular maybe 3 a year if i'm lucky, had my son 7 yrs ago natural but I did not have an af for 6 months doctors could never figure out how that was possible #2 is seeming to be about the same ttc I'm 30 now god I hope it doesn't take 2yrs again

First month not sure I ovulated - Progesterone was 20 so classed as borderline ovulation. AF was noticeably lighter and lasted a day less so I'm guessing I didn't ovulate. I'm taking 50mg CD2-6 and this month had some horrendous pains around ov, if it means that I ovulated then I'll happily go through the pain every month until I get preggers! Oh, I got positive OPK's CD13 & 14 with the first round, same this time round so I'm guessing I'm in the 'average' and ovulate on CD15ish
