I think I fit in your boat. Have been trying for two years for #1 with one year doing fertility treatments. I usually have a lot of questions and I think I may have some good answers/advice too!

I am waiting on AF to see if my current fertility treatments worked. I should know by this weekend. This last month I was on femara with an ovidriel shot to induce ovulation. Before that I took clomid for 5 months starting in July 11. My first round we concieved but miscarried, waited a few months and concieved using clomid again in October but that ended in an ectopic. We took 3 months off for my body to heal then did 3 unsuccessful months of clomid until switchin to femara and ovidrel this last month. It has been a long two years as the year before last we were TTC on our own with no luck at all. It has been a long hard road and we have had our ups and downs thats for sure!

Have you gone through any treatments or testing yet?

I had a appointment for 4/25 but cancelled due to financial reasons. So we are back at it naturally. With PCOS TTC ON & off 7 years. With PCOS we can't rely on Opk's but i finally got a positive one..but when tested today the second line was medium tint. But any who.. good luck
to all. I am new to the forum and wanted to share part of my story.

Welcome Gen.

I can relate to your story as my dr thinks I may or may not have PCOS. I have a few symptoms (acne, poly cystic ovaries) but not the usual ones. I have regular periods, I am not overweight, and all of my hormone tests come back normal. So i may have it and have good control of it or I don't.. WHO KNOWS!

Hello-I have been ttc my second baby for almost 2 years. My first baby took almost 4 years to conceive. We finally had success with clomid, metformin, and a IUI I am so thankful for him he is so amazing!! But I really want another child. We also had a suprise pregnancy 1 year after my son was born. at our 9 week ultrasound we found out we were losing the baby, it was the worst day of my life So here we are again on all the same meds (no IUI this month), but we are starting them next month if we dont have success. I am new to this site but just hoping to find a new outlet for all the emotions that come with this. Hoping for a this month!

Dolphin,
Yeah,my hormones are whacked or they were. I pray they are balancing normally. I have in UN wanted facial hairs, chest, belly hairs.a receding hair line on head. My periods will come normally if I'm on birth control or provera. The doctors believe I don't ovulate on my own. But they say prayers can over come any and all. So that's all I can afford right now
P.S all are welcomed to add ne to friends.

ttc4baby2 good luck in the coming months! I hope that my story will one day have an outcome like your first story ended. I also hope for you that your second journey ends like your first!

Genni25 they say the best things in life are free! Keep praying and I will pray for you as well! Have you tried anything natural? Diet changes etc?

Welcome maddse1. I had an HSG a year ago now. It was an experience thats for sure! I would reccomend taking some pain meds before, I didn't and really wish I had! Some people have trouble with it and others have none at all. Good luck on your journey and keep us posted!

AFM well ladies I am taking a break until Aug. AF showed up right on time this weekend.. Not too upset as I knew she was coming. But we are able to book our vacay/friends wedding trip for Jan now. So I am gonig to stay on and chat with you ladies and help any way I can. I will warn you I will be excessively positive!!! :) Good luck and baby dust to all!

dolphin1204, Thank you so much for your well wishes! I hope you can enjoy your break I know I have had to walk away from the rollercoaster a few times. Your body and mind just need a break somtimes. Be strong though, I know it is hard but it is all worth it in the end. When I had my son I forgot all about the four years that we struggled to get him LOL! Until now, now I remember. Good luck

I think I can relate to your topic. I have been ttc for 4 years now. I started fertibella, which is a fertility drug, a month ago. I just started month 2. Hopefully this will be my lucky month. I'm finding out that getting pregnant is much harder than I thought :-/

ellekayejaye did you ovulate early? I have found that as soon as you think your body is predictable it goes off on its own course.

Genni25 I have heard about a lot of people using metaformin. It isn't fair that you have to struggle with this on top of TTC. Baby dust and lots of luck to you!

ttc4baby2 your story really does give us hope.

amcbain03 yeah it is really funny how when you don't want to get pregnant you "think" it is so easy but when you actually try lots of people find out it isn't so easy after all!

AFM I am enjoying my break thus far. Taking a "Cheat" week for eating bad and drinking my caffeine. It has been nice not to have the internal question about consuming something that may affect TTC. But I plan on being good again as it really is for my overall health not just for TTC. But I think I deserve it :) GOOD LUCK ALL! I am sending out my BABY DUST to you all!

Hi everyone! I am new to this site. My dh and I have been TTC for 5 years now. We have had several breaks during that time due to stress and financial reasons. On Thursday the 10th we did our second IUI after 5 days of Femara+5 days of HMG injectables with a ovidrel trigger. Just in the 2ww and going crazy!
