BFNs following BFP @ 8dpo - need cheering up
I used a 10miu internet dipstick at 8dpo and couldn't really believe it but it showed a very clear pink line. My chart shows a slight dip at 7dpo which could be interpreted as implantation I guess.
Since then I have had nothing but BFNs using the same kind of test. I am so miserable. I had a similar experience at 8dpo last June - I had BFPs at 8 and 9 dpo then a late period - so doctor thinks it was a chemical pregnancy.
My progesterone levels were low last June and I've been to a specialist who did all the tests then pretty much wiped her hands of me really - had a nice letter saying "there's not much else we can do". But she did promise to send a letter to my doctor advising I have progesterone supplements post ovulation. when I went to see my doctor earlier this month there was no record of that and the doctor (a new one at the practise) looked a bit dumbstruck and said he needed to talk to his supervisor. Nothing has come of that.
I am losing hope that the BFP will come back this cycle...
the worst thing is my dh is so excited and I haven't the heart to tell him that this might have all been in my head, a false positive or chemical...

you could well be preggers huni dont get disheartened as your dh will understand there are so many test that give false posotives and also false negatives so have a chat and if it is not a viable pregnancy get down to bedding and that BFP will soon come back lots of love im on cd6 using cbfm i normally ov on cd11/12 so lets both get that BFPXX

Thanks so much for the words of support. Another BFN today and I am pretty much resigned to not being pregnant this time - I believe I conceived but it just didn't stick. I've just got dh's hopes up so many times - I feel really embarrassed that yet again I have to let him down. i know he will be okay because he is lovely - but it's not great.
We are trying to find a property and also have lots of other things going on so I am going to stop trying for a while - probably until next year. So that's it for me this time.
Keeping everything crossed for you that your BFP will come real soon.

im so sorry for that loss but that decision you and your darling dh have made is a very hard one to make so im wishing you all the best for next year and hope you get your propety as then you have it all and can try agian but like i said our bodies are made for making babies and you will soon ahve yours ok take care a best of luck for 2013 xx
