9dpo and spotting

Im 9dpo and having some spotting.. AF isn't due for another 5 days.. I've also been sick with a cold for last 2 days so not sure if that through my cycle off or if this is implantion spotting..

according to this site , 9dpo is the best time for implantation so spotting at this time is a good sign , good luck x

Just not sure if its the cold that brought it on early.. How soon can I test after spotting stops?
