can you ovulate early?

i normally have a 28 day cycle, i got 2 very opk positives on cd 10 and 11. i bd on cd11 and tested again on cd 12 with a neg opk, today is cd 13 and im having sharp pains on left side like im ovulating. i use the app glow and it says my O day isn't until christmas. Im just confused if i ovulated early or not.
