Donor egg success

My step-sister has offered to donate an egg for me if I don't have any success soon.

I love that idea and think it would be lovely to have blood linking our families.

I did some googling and anecdotal evidence would suggest it's fairly successful, more so than IVF.

Does anyone have any success - or lack of success - stories they care to share?

I'm 43 and getting a bit obsessed that there's a big fat clock hanging over my head!
