breastmilk/colostrum

I've come here to ask as Mr Google hasn't been much help.

When your breastmilk dries up does it:
a) Just dry up
OR
b) Goes thick, creamy and off white before turning into a colostrum like substance

I'm a first time mum, so have no idea.

Also if option b is unusual, could that be an early sign of being pregnant again? (Been ttc #2 since March, our 1st is 10months old and came off the boob last month)
