Hi everybody. I am new here. My boyfriend and I have been TTC since January. By the end of Feb I was sure I was pregnant, but then my period came and lasted 9 days of heavy bleading which was very scary as I never last longer than 4 days. In highschool we fell pregnant and had a miscarriage at 8 weeks, now 6 years later, we are trying for real. I am hoping for a Christmas baby! I am due to ovulate tomorrow, so I am hoping!

Gemma....I have skipped an O before due to extreme stress. I recommend still using opk. Your body could gear up and O late. Good luck!

Gemma; Something similar happened to me last month, I got the signs of ovulation at the normal time and my temps rose a little but not much and dropped pretty soon after, then oddly I had a few days of EWCM followed by clear temp rise on CD35!! Exactly two weeks later, AF appeared. I hadn't been paying much attention early on in the cycle so I didn't realise that's what had happened, I was totally panicking wondering what was going on with my body as I'm never that late! I'm just putting it down to weirdly late O and like molldoll said, things like stress can cause that, which makes sense for me too. I think if it's a one off it's maybe just one of those things. If it was happening regularly I'd probably get it checked out.

AFM, I'm CD9 and desparate for O day, but since I have usually long cycles, and last month especially so, I think I've got a while to wait yet! And it looks pretty likely that DH will be away this weekend. So there really is no chance. And yet, I can't help but keep my fingers crossed that he will be home an extra few days and I'll O earlier than expected, or maybe I'll O really late like last month and he'll be back by that time! You never know!

ameejo22 - i have noticed that my temp will do a big drop just before O.

bpdoyle - round one failed me too. lasted only 22 days! so got AF crazy early. so now on cycle 2, took 50mg this time, how about you?

pbc910 - sorry that you guys have to do IUI, but i'm KMFX'd that's all you need and will get a BFP, then will be worth every penny!

barely_there - this situation just happened to floz, she's over on the november board. she had a MC about the time you did and she just got a BFP this cycle, which was the one immediately after the MC. i feel this happens a lot. but you have to be mentally ready and OK with trying again so soon. sorry about your MC :(

gemmaR - have you been diagnosed or any symptoms of PCOS? i think they can get false opk+'s more often. technically anyone can get an opk+ and then due to stress for example not ovulate, but will later. sorry that happened :/

AFM, CD20, at 6/7 DPO. most things are my normal symptoms: sensitive nipples immediately after O, then sore bbs starting about 3/4 DPO and usually stays until just before AF. Last couple days bbs just killing me! so sore!! think the girls are actually bigger right now. had a temp drop this morning, i hope it goes back up tomorrow. some increased CM last couple days. and pretty much since O have occasional cramps or dull pressure in various spots down there. also was highly gassy a few days. Got bad news last night that my friend from grad school passed away in a car accident :( so now i'm pretty bummed out. but on a happier note i'm so happy for all the BFP's!! tomorrow is the blood draw for my progesterone check, please please be at least 14!!! normal is 3.3-25, my last results were 3.2 then 7.

Firsttimemommy30- I also stayed on 50mg this round too. I had no side effects this time (last time I had cramping every day and just super tired) this time I am using preseed and ovulation tests. So I'm 1 DPO!

Yes!!! I've been trying since January. A December baby would be FANTASTIC! Let's hope 3rd times the charm for me! First month I just checked BBT and CM but I used Astroglide not knowing that it inhibits sperm motility--big time! I actually think I had a chemical pregnancy because I had lots of symptoms, all BFNs and then I had one of the worst AF's of my LIFE. 2nd month I tried Conceive Plus and the Softcup, but DH got sick that weekend so we only BD twice, before and during my O. I thought we still had a fighting chance, but AF and the BFN's proved otherwise. This month we've got Conceive Plus, Softcup, and I just ordered an OPK from Wondfo. Trying to remember to keep the romance alive with all these "tools."
