Fingers Crossed for OCTOBER 2014 Babies!

Welcome, guys! I hear October babies are awesome. Baby dust to everyone!

If we conceive this cycle, my EDD would be October 2, 2014.

I am not sure how to read that test. I do see a light pink line where letter T is. Try to get a different test?

try maybe First Response Early Result - they have great reviews

GDS - I agree with Basia - I'm not sure how to read it, but I saw a pink line where the T is.

From what I've read online if there is only a blue line then it is negative. If there is a blue line with a pink or purple line then it is positive.

(Interpret the results as positive if you see a pinkish to purple line next to the letter T in the results window and you find a blue line next to the letter C in the results window. Two separate lines should appear to confirm you are pregnant.
Find a negative result if a blue line appears next to the letter C and no line appears next to the letter T in the results window. If this result occurs, it is unlikely that you are pregnant.
Receive an inconclusive result if the blue control line does not appear next to the letter C. You should retake the test using a different test kit.)

I went back to look at it again - 15 minutes after I tested and the pink line is darker than when I first read it at 3 minutes.

If I was you I would run to CVS and get a different brand... it looks very promising to me but I would still check it tomorrow or with a different test :)

gds3: Get a different test. It looks like it might be a BFP but it's hard to tell. Fingers crossed for you!

Hope everyone else is doing well. Not really sure when I'm going to O this month - my cycles have been ranging from 30-36 days since going of BC. I'm thinking of breaking down and getting an OPK. Any suggestions on what to buy? Can I begin using one now or should I wait until next cycle? AF just went away finally today.

When I go back to town this evening I will pick up a different brand and test tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback.

Hay Ladies, I thought I would drop in with a quick update on my first cycle temping... so far so good! My temperatures were all over the place at first but now I'm really starting to see a pattern (CD18 today). I'm still waiting to O, hopefully any day now (usually between CD18-22) & I continue to use OPK's. Although this is mine & my DH's 7th month TTC, I'm feeling strangely optimistic that this is our month, never had that before! Fingers crossed I'm right & we all get our BFP's! <3

aclark13: You have similar cycles to me, I would recommend the Clearblue digital ovulation test (not with dual hormone indicator, I found that OPK really inaccurate & misleading). I start testing on CD12 & my cycles range from 30-34 days, so I think your still in with a shot this cycle at only CD7 :)

So I had my first normal cycle this month! I had a 7 day bleed, which is very short for me. I usually bleed for 14 days or more! I hope and pray that this is it. Could this be the month we achieve what we've been praying for for so long?

Good luck to you all! Every single one of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

@gds2angls

In my mind, there's no doubt that's a positive! A pink line is a positive. Unless I'm missing something, like there should a cross line, that's DEFINITELY a BFP. Is it the first time you've used this brand? If it is only 10 mL, then it may not read on another test just yet. But I say congratulations! And let's hope for a sticky bean! I hope next week I get to see that pink line, too!
