Hi Angela! I feel better posting here and reading all of the reports. It helps keep me sane and I think it helps my husband, because then he doesn't have to listen to me talk about it 24x7. haha

@2more4us - I agree I think it was due to stress. I had such a good feeling this time too, guess it was all in my crazy little head - ha!

Now I'm officially shooting for a September 2014 baby!

@2more4us yes my husband thinks I'm a nut case every month lol I've been going through the dollar tree tests like crazy and he just laughs at me. I think we both will be shocked when we see two lines lol has anyone heard of taking baby aspirin and evening primrose oil? Does that help? I ended up ordering preseed from amazon the other night on a whim so we will be trying that this time around!

so my husband really wants a child of our own so we have decided to g o further into fertilityntreatments and have our first consultation for an iui or ivf on Jan 6. in an excited and terrified at the same time.

Angela - I totally feel your pain. I'm 36 and DH is 38. We've been trying since August so this is our 5th cycle. He kept saying, "it'll happen when it'll happen" and didn't understand why that upset me. I finally had to sit him down and explain the whole concept of conception and how difficult it really is to conceive (esp if you have any fertility issues). After that, he has come around so much. He doesn't complain about the sticks (and has been a really good sport about it when I ask him on the OPKs if the lines are the same color...lol), he doesn't say the dreaded phrase, and he's been much more of a partner in this whole thing. We decided together to TTC and I felt like I was putting in all the effort and he would complain about little stuff. I'm really glad he's finally understanding what this is like and he's there to console me when the dreaded witch arrives.

@spartiechic - funny you said all that because just today after my lovely friend showed up yet again we talked about everything and I think it finally sunk in lol it just feels so good to talk to other women about this stuff!

SMC - good luck and I know it will work out! You've been trying almost as long as I have, or somewhere around there...I look forward to seeing your BFP announcement in the near future!!!

Looks like IUI is my next step. As soon as my thyroid is under control, we will begin the process. Hopefully it's sooner than later, don't get my thyroid tested until Jan so the earliest this would start is February. Eh, what's another two months at this point?

While- My RE suggests 1000

2more- I had headaches on the last day of SI. It did't bother me much though. I didn't have any dryness infact, I had a pretty good amount of EWCM on it, but we used pre-seed anyway. My O pains started pretty much a day or two before I actually O'd (confirmed with temping). Hope that helps.

rebecca- With my history, I'll be there with you. I agree with your DH that you should take time off of charting at your MIL's. You guys will have more fun BDing that way. :-)

GB- Maybe you had delayed O? I always feel more ready around time for O. I also had the same experience with sex when I was pregnant. I'm hope I haven't confused you any further.

Blushing - that's my current tactic. Tonight after BD'ing he asked won't you be pos soon and I giggled and told him I was strongly OPK pos this morning and currently have bad left ovary cramping tonight. Hopefully we'll be ok for tomorrow's bd... I can't lie when he asks me outright like that, he can so read me.

Ladies, first I wanted to start with my ranting for a bit. I m feeling super uneasy this cycle ( despite the fact that we wanted to take a break ) somehow this break makes me feel worried.
The hunch on testing early using OPK, the on -off forgetting to chart, let alone saying on my multi-vits, I have not been consistent in these for the whole of this month.

Like I was mentioning a few days ago..witch came early this cycle. (24 days ) well... to be honest, cycle range from 24-30days for me so far. Just that the overwhelming OPK (+) appeared on CD7 made me paranoid!

I was looking through my records. ON CD6, I noted down watery cm,.. and on CD7 OPK(+) appeared using CB digital, strips appeared (-) faint faint line.

On CD8- I managed to book my gynae and did the ultrasound scan to detect dominant. To my dismay, and his suspicion... Left is small and right is only at 10+mm which is not the right size.
After which, I decided to heed gynae advice to not test till CD12 ( which is tomorrow , based on my time zone )

On CD9- while I was on the bed for sleep at night, I suddenly felt a strong pull in my right lower abdomen for a while. Just didn't occur to me y. Till I revisit my calendar (ovulation - calender.com) to find out which day to BD-ing will get me baby girl. Appended are the results.

Based on Average cycle: 24 days, LP: 13 days.CD1- 09/12/2013

Hence, based on this, I decided to test today for O. Well, its negative based on CB digital. I am left with one normal strip which I will use it tomorrow morning and **Hope ** surge appear?? God! I am not sure if I should hope that I have already O-ed since I had some pulls on CD9 midnight or I hope that its still CD12/13.
Reason being for CD9, as right ovary may be just at 11+-12+mm and its not the right size yet.

While on CD12/13, right will be around 13+mm based on follicles growing 1-2mm per day.

In order to reach 16-17+mm size, it will be on xmas eve @ CD16... I am totally stressed out for this! any one? any advice or similar encounter?

Gynae said it was a prank on CB digital.. But what if yes its right ovary but the follicle size doesn't grow?? I am not sure If I can handle another scan for a second opinion. DH is totally cool about it and while we BD yesterday, i tried to raise my legs up in the air, he said- come on, no need to do this. I was like- WHAT??!! are you in or not for a baby?? The roller coaster mood swing on having pleasures and the next second feeling frustrated that I just slept a man that take things too easy??

Of course, DH wanted a baby much, he didn't want us to be stressed. Just that its me.. I am overly paranoid now even that the scan suggested its right ovary, y do i not feel optimism at all? All my gFs are telling me to take it easy and said maybe just wait, or god feels its not the right time? AAaRRRgghhh they are my besties all with kids. Except for me... **PRESSURE***

Plus the scan showed some congestion around the tube that if AF appears I will have to be on antibiotics and will be out for another cycle, as gynae mentioned that these meds are not good for TTC....

Alrighty,stop my rumbles.. tears....

WHile- gynae suggested 400 for me- folic acid

GB- I was using CB digital, based on past 2 cycles, I always get solid smiley & not flashing smiley...However normal strips says its negative ( CD8)

YOga- You'll get your sticky beans! don't give up..
