@GB, I had the same thought as Jennavee -- maybe you Od later than Dec 3. Stress, etc. (which I'm sorry your experiencing!) more likely delays O than AF.

It sounds pretty clear that you had a positive OPK on Dec. 3. You could have Od on Dec. 4th, though, because O supposedly happens 12-36 hours after your LH surge, which is what the OPK is testing. Another possibility is that you geared up to O enough that you had your LH surge on Dec. 3, but then O still didn't happen at the end of the surge. I know that happens occasionally, and usually you will have a second surge a few days later to complete the O process.

Hang in there, FX you have some kind of answer in a few days!

@while, I was taking 400mcg of Folic Acid, but my mom read a study earlier this month that said Zoloft (which I'm on) can deplete Folic Acid and other B vitamins, so I've been taking 800mcg since then.

@Rebecca, any signs of AF? Bummer that you're going to be at your MILs during the next fertile period. Hopefully you can get in a few BD seshs right before you leave and right when you get home?

@blushing, sorry about your anxiety :( Maybe it was spurred on by AF hormones? I know this process can get overwhelming, and I hope you find some peace of mind over the next few days. Hugs!

How's everyone else? Happy hump day?

AFM, today is cd14. I still have a blinking smiley on the CB digital OPK, and not very much EWCM, so I'm not sure when O is coming. I've felt like it's just around the corner every day since cd8, haha! KMFX that I don't have to wait until cd21 like last cycle. I'm all about dtd on Christmas, but not at my in-laws' house [lol]

Wifey - I doubt it. We leave the day after Christmas. I'll probably still be on my period - it lasts about 7-9 days. Our trip to my inlaws will last a little over a week. By the time we get back, my fertile time will be over by about 3 days.

@acrichton, did you have your appt yet!?!

@rebecca, still worth dtd when you get home, just in case you O later than usual!?! When I had my CP last month, I'm pretty sure we caught the egg from dtd the morning after O (either that or I O'd earlier than FF thinks I did). Anyway, I'm sorry the timing is going to suck this coming month [sad]. You're not totally out for this cycle yet, right? kmfx you won't need to worry about it next month.

While - I'm reading what to expect before you're expecting and they rec 400-600 mcg folic acid per day.

AFM, so weird lately. Check out my chart. I threw out the Monday temps because I got up early those days and had super low readings. I may add them back in so you guys can see. Yesterday and today woke up early and laid in bed, at least an hour, stressing, not really falling back asleep. When I took my temp before actually getting up it was a lot higher than other days. Watery CM just started yesterday and my first OPK+ was today, CD14. Last cycle was CD15 before an opk+. Also felt very tired, rundown, almost drunk today. Left work early. Will hopefully dtd tonight and tomorrow to catch that egg. Any advice on how to help out DH? I think he feels pressured.

@Rebecca, maybe you can find a way to be sneaky. Even if it has to be in the bathroom or something! You can fit one in! (-:

I just joined this site today because I wanted to post my pic if my "unsure" test. Unfortunately the evil witch showed up earlier this afternoon. Me and my husband have been TTC for 6 months. I stopped the pill the end of June and no luck yet. I'm trying not to be a negative nelly but it's so frustrating. Really I know we need to try harder and I'm hoping my next cycle will be the one! My husband just turned 35 and I will be 34 in January so I'm hoping for a fun birthday gift! He doesn't understand why I get so upset every month and tells me it will happen when happens which I know that but it still upsets me. Actually typing this out makes me feel better :) good luck to all of us!!

@Angela001 - it will happen I have faith! I thought I was and I made an appt for Friday to have blood work done, then when I returned from my lunch break - there she was that little witch :( very frustrating and sad when you see her and she's the last thing in the world you want right now. My husband and I have been trying to conceive since September, so I know it's only been 3 cycles, so I'll just have to hang in there. I'm def. in more of a rush than my husband seems to be as well, so kind of in the same boat as you are. GOOD LUCK!!!!

GB, I think it could be the emotional stress. I had a period delayed 5 days because of some extreme stress. Losing a family member can do the same thing. I was nauseous, had the sweats, tender boobs, craving avocado (not normal for me), and some other things I can't remember. Turns out those symptoms are my normal stress or AF symptoms. I was testing almost every day from 10 DPO until AF started 19 DPO. It's not common for periods to be delayed, but it does happen. Out bodies shut down with the non-life-threatening orgnas first, our reproductive organs. :(

That being said, people still have babies in war zones, so what is that all about?!!!
