Who else has long periods?
I got my IUD taken out in march & every mo. that goes by my period gets longer. Right now I'm on day 16. Its more spotty now(except yesterday. i thought I started my period). DH & I purchased a house 2 mo. ago that has had to be completely gutted & remodeled + all the major yardwork on 1 acre so I don't know if the stress from that is causing this. I'm just curious how many other ladies have long periods & if its normal.

When I had my IUD put in, my periods were longer, with more spotting in between. Then they got lighter and shorter, and after about 7 months they stopped all together.
When I had it taken out, the reverse happened- light periods with lots of spotting between, progressing to heavier each month, and less spotting between.
My periods used to be 6 days, with 3-4 days of heavy spotting. After I had my IUD out, they are 2-3 days, with 2 days of light spotting.
