CM question....possibly TMI!

So I have been monitoring my CM on a daily basis since November of last year, needless to say I'm fairly familiar with my bodies normalities at this point. Normally, after O, I start to dry up and/or get creamy white CM. I am now 9DPO and have noticed that i am not drying up, I'm staying pretty wet, and while it isn't EWCM, it is plentiful. Yesterday and today I have had slightly yellowish CM. I have never had this before, and am wondering if this, accompanied by the abundance of CM I'm experiencing at this point, could be a sign of pregnancy. Has anyone else had any experience with this?

Yes it can be. I noticed that when I got pregnant (miscarried at 10 weeks). It wasn't that early though - 13dpo. Could you have ovulated earlier? It takes a while for the hormones to build up to a point to get those symptoms due to pregnancy.

Despite this, sometimes your body will just produce better hormone levels and hence you see "pregnancy symptoms" while not pregnant. I have also had abundant yellow creamy cm at 11dpo on a non-pregnant cycle a couple of months ago.

I have been TTCing for 19 (almost 20) months now and monitoring cm among other things. There is just too much variability from cycle to cycle to use it as a sign of pregnancy in itself I am afraid.

Good luck - hope it is what you want it to be!! :)

Your response has been most helpful. I appreciate the time you took to respond. I take the clear blue easy digital OPKs, so im fairly certain of my O date. The most it could be off is by a day, but I Oed, according to my OPKs at the same time I usually do. I tend to have a span of about 4 days that I O during.I hope it ends up in a BFP this cycle instead of AF. Guess DH and I will just have to keep our fingers crossed and wait to see if she shows her bitch face or not lol.

Hi, how are you going? Was your different CM a good sign for you??

Im still holding on to hope that it was. Im 20DPO, with no sign of AF, but only one very very faint positive HPT at 16DPO. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Wow, 20dpo is a good sign! Not good that you haven't got a nice BFP yet though. The waiting game seems to last forever, doesn't it??

Please keep us posted. I've had the same symptom at 7/8 dpo and some very slight spotting and cramping today at 9dpo. I've heard yellow cm is a sign of an elevated progesterone level and could be a sign of pregnancy (although I've seen it both ways). My fingers are crossed that you get your BFP.

I am 10 dpo and also have the yellowish CM. I feel pregnant, with many symptoms, but still no positive test. Still waiting.....I've come to the very real conclusion that I totally suck at the TWW! Ha! :-) Have a headache that comes and goes. Had that with my first daughter. Hoping tomorrow is the day....Good luck to everyone!

Hello - the difference in cervical mucus was one of the first signs I knew I was pregnant. Each month after ovulation, mine tended to dry up until right when AF was coming. The month I got pregnant I noticed that the CM never dried up, stayed pretty wet all the way up until my positive test (16 dpo) and at times had a yellowish tinge.

GOOD LUCK!!
