12DPO too soon for a BFP?

I am currently 12DPO and have not gotten a clear BFP yet. Ive gotten a couple tests that look like they may have the faintest of lines. Im wondering if i normally have a 29-30 day cycle, and I don't expect AF to show up for another 7 days, (19dpo or CD 30...however you wish to look at it. Its all the same.) Is 12DPO too soon to get a BFP, or should I count myself out this month since I haven't gotten a BFP yet? I know many women are able to get a BFP at 12DPO, but may have a shorter cycle. Im trying not to over think it, but I feel like if I dont expect AF to show up for another full week, that its too soon to get a positive test at this point. Opinions?
