Checklist for ladies who are TTC

Hi Ladies,

I have been seriously ttc for more than 6 months and came to know a lot of things after visiting a fertility specialist.

1.Hormone Test - On CD 2
2.HSG
3.US
4.Follicle study
5.Progesterone supplements

1.Hormone Test:

On our CD 2 a hormonal test should be taken to cover FSH,TSH,LH ,Prolactin to determine your ovarian reserve. This test is not for the ladies who are with infertility issues this is also for ladies who are ovulating regularly. This determine the quality of egg which is produced from us.

2.HSG:

HSG test helps to determine if there is any blockage in fallopian tubes. This is a very mandatory test which every women should undergo.

3.US:

An ultrasound scan is a very basic needy test for all the ladies who starts their ttc to make sure that their uterus, fallopian tubes, endometrium is very normal.

4.Follicle study:

Follicle study is been done for me every month to monitor the eggs which im producing and the growth of it.It also helps to check when it is been ruptured exactly to make sure that we have timed intercourse or IUI. Even though we use opk it is not as reliable as follicle study thro US

5.Progesterone supplements:

We don't know exactly how much our body exactly needs during TWW and further.So on the safer side better start with progesterone supplements which helps in thickening of endometrium.

I suggested the checklist as far as I know.I still will keep u posted about other minor things which we shud be very careful.Also ladies pls share if u know any other important things other than this to create awareness on ladies who are ttc..!!
