IVF First Time ... Egg Retrieval

Hello !! i've been TTC for about 6 years with my BD and we have tried all options and just got coverage for IVF with new company.

I'm doing the hormone injections and its taking effect ... hoping to produce enough eggs to make 3 cycles possible.

i'm stressing about the egg retrieval and wanting to see if anyone else is going thru IVF and what they have experienced on the Hormone injections and what to expect... and is pineapple really worth it to make it sticky

any input on the process .. or just a cycle buddy in the same boat

I'm a first timer for ivf as well, so I can't help ease your worries...but would be up for a cycle buddy. I am planning to start my first ivf cycle next week....are you in your first cycle now? If not, when are you expecting to start it?

What is this about pineapple??

Hi BFP dreams, I see this is an old thread but I don't mind jumping in, there are a few of us doing IVF here but most people are TTC naturally or doing IUI, I did a fresh ICSI cycle in November and had 6 eggs retrieved, I was very disappointed at the start because I wanted more to work with, my fertilisation report came the next day and 5 fertilised, I had a 3 day transfer of a compacting morula and froze 4, I ened up having a chemical and I am doing a FET in January, I am excited and nervous, what if it doesn't work!!! I am young (28) a high antral follicle count (not pcos but looks like it). Im am very nervous its all I can think about!

Me 28 - DP 30 HSG all clear, very high AFC 42 SA 27million on Menevit,2% Normal Mild Teratospermia Been TTC since June 2011 Aug 2012 10dpo 10 weeks little boy Trisomy 16 Jan 2013 9dpo CP July 2013 1st round of Tamoxifen 20mg Ovidrel trigger and 4 pregnyl booster shots IVF November 2013 6 eggs collected, 5 Fertilized normally, Transferred 1 beautiful compacting 3 day morula, froze 4... FET Feb 2014 4DP5DT, Beta 11DP5DT 647
