MRI and Possible pregnancy

Hello all-

I recently injured my foot. My physician has ordered me to get an MRI. I don't know for sure that I am pregnant (Testing on the 25). The MRI isn't scheduled for another couple of weeks.

My question is has anyone ever had an MRI within the first trimester? Ive read that it is not recommended but wanted to see if yall had heard anyting different or had one in the first trimester.

TIA

when i went for my MRI, i mentioned that i might be pregnant and they said okay we wont use the dye then. i think its safe as long as you dont use the dye. ask a doctor. be sure to tell the MRI technicians that you might be pregnant.

Awesome! Thanks- mine is without the dye so I guess I'm ok. But I will make are and mention it. By the time I actually have it I should know one way or the other if I'm pregnant or not.
