FINALLY we can move forward and try again :)
Hi all
I just wanted to get a positive topic up as my last one was pretty miserable.
We have been trying to conceive since June 2011. Finally got our BFP on April 1st 2012 only for me to start losing brown discharge (at times like prune juice) 5 days later. Scan showed a lined womb but no baby and HCG kept rising. I bled for 2 months and it took the hospital about 6 weeks to discover I had a ectopic that had left my tube full of fluid. They said it was hydrosalpinx, but I knew it couldn't be as I have good sexual health. My last son was born 10 weeks prem due to infection and I knew it would be because of that that there would potentially be problems with me.
My HCG went back to normal in the end but I was booked in to have my left tube removed and for some investigative tests.
It took from April until last week in September for them to get me in and sort me out. Those months were hell. Not knowing if we would be able to have a baby together (my 3 boys are not my fiancees)
Anyway I have now had my surgery - 6 days ago.
They found my left fallopian tube was clubbed - this was removed.
I had polycystic ovary on my left ovary - this was removed and my ovary reconstructed.
I had superficial endometriosis on my right ovary - which was cut off.
My right tube was 100% healthy and the free flow dye ran through it beautifully.
End result is a very brusied and sore me. But an US that can now try to conceive naturally.
If we haven't conceived within 6 to 12 months the specialist has agreed to see us in clinic and help us with fertility treatment.
We are ABSOLUTELY OVER THE MOON after the last 6 months of hell that we have been through.
I just wanted to share my positive vibe.
Getting married March 2013, so we hope to complete our year with news of the baby we have so longed for.
Much love and baby dust to you all.
Lou :) xxx

Thank you Kbcooper. I'll be sure to let you all know when we finally get our BFP - try stopping me ;) xx
Try to relax Kathleen - I know that's easier said than done, as I know I will be the same next time I get my BFP. Try and enjoy this time as it's so precious after what you have been through. Happy & Healthy 9 month to you :) xx
