I had a levovist 2 days ago, and from what I have read it is very similar to an HSG. The only difference is that levovist is done with ultrasound and HSG with x-ray.

It was not the most pleasant experience, when they insert the cathedar into the uterus I felt alot of cramping but was tolerable. Just remember to relax, it doesn't take very long

And bonus . . . the dye 'flushes' you out and makes you more fertile for the next couple of cycles!!!!
