EWCM with spotting?

On 7DPO I had some brown tint in very EW consistency CM. I never have spotting of any sort. Also felt some sharp pain on right side for about an hour. Could it be implantation spotting? Not sure if its too early and maybe just something left over from BD. ? Took a test today, at 8DPO with dollar store brand.. and BFN. wasn't really expecting anything more at this point. My fingers are crossed. will try testing again with an early detection HPT in a couple of days.
Feeling quite tired and an increase in hunger today.
