The journey begins

We weren't trying to conceive yet, but we weren't not trying. We happen to have hit the mark on the big O day. I had symptoms galore that were not usual of AF. I tested religiously every morning from 9DPO until today (16DPO). I have a very regular cycle and I was already 6 days late. No BFP. We still held onto hope. This morning I tested, BFN. I went to work and about 2 hours in, AF arrived with bells on. Hasn't been this bad since High School.
I'm 40 years old and I have 2 beautiful girls already. I have been divorced, And am with someone I'm totally head over heels for; my happy ending.
Our chances aren't so high, but we are going to try to make this dream come true.
This is Cycle Day 1. And we will be actively TTC.
And so our journey begins....
