Cd 16 Aug. 5 temp up to 97.97 but positive opk this am
So, this morning, the opk read either positive or awfully darn close. If it isn't this am, it will be by this afternoon. I'll test late this afternoon to be certain, but I'm calling today my positive opk day. Interestingly, it's the same CD as last month. Anyway, my temp shot up this morning from where they've been the past two days, but it was warm in my room and I was sort of sweaty. Also didnt sleep very well. Since I just now got my positive opk, it doesn't really make sense that the temp spike would be post ovulatory. So, I should expect a spike above the cover line within the next few days. I'm truly hoping for a BFP this month. Don't want to have to see fertility specialist and go through IUI etc. Husband is due to go in for an SA which I have to schedule tomorrow I simply cannot afford to. I should also mention that last night I felt quite a bit of cramping in my extreme lower abdomen in the uterus/ovary area. Felt like pressure and cramping. Bearable but somewhat uncomfortable. The cervix was pretty high so perhaps this was follicles getting ready for ovulation. I don't know. It was a bit different than my usual cycle so maybe that's why I noticed it. Also, my CM is sort of stretchy and opague near the surface. I am not moist at all near my vulva or anything today. My cervix is very high, soft but closed (I think). I was more wet down there two days ago and felt more of an opening.. Sometimes I swear that my body starts doing the CM thing two or more days before I get a positive OPK. Once I get the positive OPK, I have very little CM. I don't get it. However, I know that surge ends up with ovulation because my period always comes 13 - 14 days after Ovulation (which occurs the day after I get first positive OPK - I always feel it). Anyway, we will baby dance this evening to make sure we send reinforcement troops. Might as well get preseed ready. C'mon, Clomid, help us out this time around. Help us create BABY F.
