Question

When to get a blood test; and how long do results take?

I took a HPT today at 15 DPO. Got a faint positive. Called my doctor to get a blood test - is it too early? They are going to call me back after they speak to the nurse. If I do take the test, how long will it be before I get results?

Hi there!

You can definitively make a blood test if you're at 15 DPO. But do you have the occasion to test again with a HPT tomorrow or after tomorrow with your first urine? HCG levels double every other day.

I don't know how long it would be to get your blood test results where you live. In my country in takes one or two days.

Take care!
