Question

Temperature Dip??

This is my first month of tracking my BBT and I'm a little confused by my chart. It looks like I had two "dips" followed by rises. I was 9 DPO yesterday, so I was wondering if the dip yesterday morning was implantation or whether it was indication that I'm "out" this month.

A dip around around the 5-9DPO range is usually the secondary estrogen surge that happens in the luteal phase. A dip the day before, or the day of, your expected period is usually a very good sign that your period will start soon.

"Implantation dips" are a bit of a misnomer since they're only slightly more common on pregnancy charts than they are on charts where the woman was not pregnant.

Hopefully it's a good sign for you.
