TTC while having PCOS, two days late..but no BFP. What gives?
I am now 2 days late for my period, which never happens. I have taken four tests, all negative. Has anyone else experienced this and actually been pregnant? I do have PCOS, which means if I did concieve, it would be a miracle baby. Because I don't ovulate at normal times or ovulate at all, it's pretty impossible to track it down. I'm wondering if maybe I ovulated at an odd time, conceived and have to wait longer to test because right now is too early and the first sign of pregnancy is my missed period and symptoms. Ooooh, the confusion and anticipation!

Hi. I also have PCOS. My cycles are usually regular (28 days), but it was late a couple of times and I wasn't pregnant. Periods and ovulation can be irregular with PCOS. I have an ultrasound check every month to determine my ovulation date. This month I didn't have time around the middle of the month and went to the have the u/s earlier and the doc could detect an upcoming ovulation. The doc told me that I would ovulate on CD9 instead of the usual CD 14-16. I also checked it with an OPK and yes, I ovulated on CD9. I was really strange for me.
How do you track you ovulation?

I also have PCOS. When DH and I started TTC, we used an OPK. I ended up over a month late for AF and no BFP. I then went several months with no AF at all. Since I've started Clomid with my doctor, I do get AF on time. I'd say, if you don't start AF in a few days and still no BFP it may be time to see the doctor. They can always do a blood test to rule it out and take a peek at what else might cause the delay in AF.
