Question

Cd 17 no opk positive?

So I have a 28 day cycle and have started using opk's this cycle to see if I'm ovulating and when and to give us a better chance at conceiving but I'm on cd 17 and haven't had any positive opk's as yet. Only fainter ones. Is it possible that I am ovulating later even though my cycle is 28 days I'm so confused someone help!! I thought the later you ovulate the longer the cycle

You might just have a short luteal phase (the period of time after O and before AF). Or, you could be having a longer cycle. When I conceived last time I didn't get a positive OPK until CD24.

Does a short luteal phase make it harder to conceive?
