Brown/red spotting during implantation?

I am 9po and I'm not expecting my period until the 24th. I had sex during my fertile days on the day I was ovulating. I have had many symptoms from headaches, low cramps, pressure, constipation, either an increase of decrease of appetite, tired/exhaustion and nausea throughout the day. I took one hpt at 6dpo and 8dpo they were both bfn but I was thinking it was too early. Today I had some spotting, brown and red, not a lot just a few drops every here and there and had cramps and is there a chance this could be implantation? I have never spotted before and my period isn't due for a week. Any advice?
