I have the same issue. I was told I have vitamin D deficiency 6 months ago. I took supplements for 6 months and tried to be in the sun more and I just got the results of a new blood test that still chose vitamin D deficiency. I have no idea what to do if the supplements don't work. My husband and I have been TTC for 4 months and I didn't know vitamin D level could affect fertility but I've been reading up on it and it seems like it does. I am at 9 dpo today and was actually thinking I might be pregnant (I've been really tired for the past few days + cramps, nausea and sore breasts) but it wouldn't be the first time I am imagining symptoms though... I have left a message for my doctor and am expecting a call back today or tomorrow. I will let you know if I find out anything else.

Check out what foods are high in Vit D and try to get outside for some sun, even in cooler weather. Caviar and oysters are on the list, so it's a great excuse to live it up! Ideally, book a posh holiday to get some winter sun with gourmet food! Good luck.

Hi - I know this thread was a year ago, but just wondering what the outcome was? I've just started supplements for non-existent vitamin d but my doctor doesn't think my body is absorbing it. Tests in 10 weeks again will tell!
