Miscarriage or is there Hope?
My HCG was initially rising slowly but the doubling speed has gotten better..
4+0 = HCG 88
4+2 = HCG 109 (Doubling 152 hrs)
4+4 = HCG 143 (Doubling 122 hrs)
5+1 = HCG 298 (Doubling 88 hrs)
5+4 = HCG 683 (Doubling 61 hrs)
Scan done at 4+4 showed a sac at 2.3mm
Scan done at 5+4 showed a sac at 3mm..
Been told it's definitely a failed pregnancy because little growth & been offered D&C or a scan in 2 wks..really confused as I read everywhere that a sac can't be seen until hcg is 1000 anyway..but she did show me a little blip which she said looked like the sac..but because the sac did not grow much ...they believe mc - even though my HCG is rising more quickly...
I initially had light spotting but no spotting since wk4...now 6+2..
My Progesterone was very high at 4 wks (natural conception) at 152 ngol/l = 47.8 ng/ml
Dropped to 88ngol/l = 27.7 ng/ml (despite being on progesterone pessaries since 4+2 - put in these because of my recurrent mc history)

4+4 - Mean sac size 2.3mm
5+4 - Mean sac size 2.9mm
6+4 - Mean sac size 5.1mm
Growth is very small..so the clinic think very likely that miscarriage is imminent...I have had no bleeding and only some cramping on Thursday..asked me in for a scan in 2 wks...
