Low hcg levels and not doubling
Hi I was just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation. I found out I was pregnant last week and ended up having to go to the hospital because I had spotting and pain. They did a blood test and my hcg levels were low at only 66, 36 hours later I had another test and they had only gone up to 74. The Dr has told me the don't think it's a viable pregnancy and to expect a miscarriage. I'm due back for more tests tomorrow and really hoping there is some good news for me and my husband. Has anyone else experienced anything like this and had a happy ending?

my dr said they LIKE to see them double in 48 hours but if they go up at least 60% that is good. Yours went up and it wasnt the full 48 hours so I think your dr was insensitive to say that. Hopefully your next tests are more reassuring.
ps--> My new dr will only give me one beta... not the two or more. My first beta was scary low for my lmp. I'm still freaked out however my test lines are really dark now and in 7 days my clearblue digital went from 1-2 weeks to 3+ weeks so I know they are going up. Low levels are not always a bad sign.
