Question

Next steps?

I got a faint positive at 11 days past ovulation. I am now 13 days past, and was going to test again tomorrow on the day I should have gotten my period.I am trying to be very relaxed about this because I've had two miscarriages. But wondering when you guys think I should call the doctor to let them know. part of me doesn't want to be in a rush, I mean what difference does it make any way...not sure i should even get bldwork instead just make appt for first u/s? I guess after you've been through a couple miscarriages you try not to get your hopes up, even though I really AM excited

I am in the same boat as you and just had my 2nd miscarriage last week. I want to say that it is entirely up to you. If you feel that getting blood work will stress you, don't. If you feel like it would stress you to not get it, then do.. I personally felt the same way when I found out I was pregnant this past time. I have medical things that make it to where I kinda have to get blood work, plus from the ultrasounds I found that my uterine lining was not really as thick as it should be getting, so I ordered some progesterone cream to help it a little. As long as you don't have medical issues like an increased risk of ectopic pregnancies, I think you should handle your new pregnancy in the way you and your partner feel is best for your well-being.
God bless and I hope this is your stay baby..
