I had the test done two times. both times I didn't have blocked tubes but I did have success after with getting pregnant afterwards.. first time it took me 3 months after to get pg and the second time it was the next cycle after test was done.

i am not sure on how soon the dr would unblock them.

Just had this test done last week. My tubes were blocked and the Dr. was able to unblock both of them successfully with pressure of the dye. I had my son 6 years ago and she said sometimes it just happens. I am hoping to conceive this cycle as she said basically she opened the flood gates! lol Good luck with your test and take something before you go for the pain.

I am also suppose to have an HSG in the next few weeks this will be my first one. My doc told me that if one of them was blocked they wouldn't "really" unblock it they would just "work off the other side" Not sure how I feel about that! Let me know how it goes for you!
