Spotting and implantation bleeding. Please help!

Hi,
I need some help trying to figure out what is happening this cycle.
On Nov 4th, we BDed twice.
On Nov 7th, I had painful bloating. Felt to me like ovulation.
On Nov 8th, I had a tiny amount of pink spotting. I assumed this was ovulation bleeding.
On Nov 10th, I started having brown stringy discharge (sorry for TMI) every time I went to the loo.
Nov. 14th I had period like cramps and in the evening, when I went to the toilet, there was dark red blood.
I called the OB/GYN to get an appointment. She told me to get a blood test first. I did on the 15th, it came back negative (on 8dpo ).
Since then, I have gone back to lighter brown spotting.
I have less cramping but still lower backache, cramps in my legs (?), am tired and feel slightly nauseous.
Has anyone experienced this? The brown spotting obviously isn't implantation bleeding as it started 3dpo. But what about the more intense cramps and red blood on 7dpo? The negative blood test: too early if implantation on 7dpo?
