5 days before period?

hi ladies, today i am 5 days before my period is due. But yesterday (6days before due period) i (TMI) had just finished intercourse with my partner and i was cleaning up and noticed some dark red/brown discharge.. i have never bleed from intercourse. like ever. i am having period like cramps but also ovary stabbing pains and my breast feel tingly. the areolas feel and look normal. but i have been increasingly tired lately and period like cramps. any advice as to whats going on? what could cause the brown spotting? and why am i having period like cramps and left and right ovary pain? thank you in advance for any insight!!!
