Question

Has Anyone Else Experienced This?

So today I'm 7 dpo and it is my hubby's birthday and I'm trying to bake him a triple chocolate cake. I went into the kitchen to take the layers out of the oven and when I smelled the cake, all of the sudden, I felt like I was about to have to jet for the bathroom. The smell of the chocolate cake made me sick? Is this a symtom or what? Anyone else experience this at 7 dpo?

Well 7 DPO seems pretty early to have symptoms but I wouldn't put it past being pregnant. I had bad morning sickness with my pregnancy but I never had any food aversions. But its not uncommon to get sick from the smell of a certain food in pregnancy. One of my pregnant coworkers would instantly have to throw up whenever she smelled fish and that was our other coworkers favorite food so pretty much everyday and lunch she was puking in the trash can lol.

I've heard of the smell of fish and, for my mom it was cooking bacon, but chocolate cake? Maybe is was just a coincidence. I've just never felt THAT nauseous for no reason before. It was completely random.

Bless your coworker's little heart. I would told the other coworker to stop eating so much fish, or I'd start vomiting in their wastebasket. lol
