I don't know exactly when I ovulated this month, but I am 12 days late from my expected AF. We have been trying for 6 months, and my first faint positive. I correctly timed the test, and the vertical line is darkest at the top. It showed up only within the allotted then went away after 20ish minutes

I took three frer with extremely faint lines, one first signal with a faint line that got darker over 25 minutes and then this
