FINALLY AF ARRIVES AFTER 256 DAYS! Confused or relieved?

Back on the 29th March my friend who had been trying to conceive alongside me fell pregnant. It was the exact same time I had my last period. Last night she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and today I got my first period in nine months. Call it coincidence or whatever but it seriously has knocked me for six! How freaky!

Anyway, the last week I have been unbelievably cranky, weepy and had the worst breast swelling/pain ever and today I nearly passed out with shock when I came on! I'm a mixture of relieved, shocked, upset it wasn't pregnancy symptoms but hopeful my cycle is maybe going to reboot itself. All hormone bloods came back normal again, coeliac was normal, scan only showed one polyp on my ovaries so still no further forward for answers or diagnosis. Being referred back to the hospital again so that I'm effectively in the "queue" for fertility drugs/treatment when the year mark comes around in March.

Not really sure where I was going with this, I guess it's good to just write it down and hopefully one of you ladies will have a story like mine with a positive outcome for me to focus on.
