IUI on the same day as a positive OPK -- successes?

I had a +OPK and also IUI last Friday. It was the latest they could get me in. My OB seemed to think that it would be just fine. I had EWCM and a close-to-positive OPK the day before. I continued to have EWCM and very positive OPKs the following day.

I'm very worried we were too early. Our first attempt was about 26 hours after the first positive OPK and 2nd was about 14 hours. This is our 3rd try.

Any same-day as positive OPK IUI successes?
