Hi . sorry to hear about your last mc. It is a ride only those who have been through it can understand.

I'm in a similar position.
Son is 2 1/2 and very keen to give him a sibling.
Have had 2 mc's. Oct 13 and Apr 14. Both distressing in different ways. Both missed miscarriages and miscarried at 11 weeks.

8dpo now and hoping for a positive. That's the fun part.
Not sure how I will cope trying to make it to 12 weeks.

Feeling optimistic.

Thanks for your reply and really sorry about both of your miscarriages, it's awful thing to happen to someone. I really hope you get your BFP this month, how long have you been trying for if you don't mind me asking.

Have been trying since April 2013 in total. This is the first Go month after 2nd MC as i have has a hysperoscopy to address some scar tissue at the beginning of the month.

Long story short I knew something was not rite after MC1 &DNC as had odd bleedind mid cycle. GP brushed it off from oct to jan then gave in and let me pay for a USS. Then i self referred to and O&G and he brushed me off with 'shell be rite'c ome back in 4 months. Concieved that month and ended in a mess.

MIdwife referred me to fertility specialist and she took one look on the USS and figured that there was scarring in the way.

Now at square one, on track and fingers crossed from here on. After MC one was desperate to concieve again, this time keen but nervous.

Great news..... POSITIVE HPT and blood test yesterday which is fab.

Next thought after yay is, will this one work??

MC is such an eye opener to the reality of human biology and the odds of getting to a live birth.... every little baby is a miracle.

How are you doing? How's things working out? Am doing okay two week wait is coming to an end, not many symptoms couple but cud be either way, had a busy few days as it's been hubby's birthday so it's taken my mind off things. Will be testing Friday whatever happens.

Fab news on the positive opk by the way that's fab news!

All is going well. Three good blood hcg rises and now waiting for the first early scan at 7 weeks next week.
Fingers crossed. Fuuny I fluctuate between excited and nervous. Pessimistic and positive.

I've been a complete idiot I thought when you wrote a positive HPT it read positive ovulation test OMG your pregnant that's amazing news!! How dumb am I lol!! How have you been feeling?

I also got a positive test last wk I couldn't believe it am only 4wks 5 days so still very early but also have early scan at 7 wks.

Am so delighted for you B can't believe I read your last email wrong I thought you meant you had a positive ovulation test lol!!

Are you going to tell family/friends before 12 weeks?

Im undecided but as time goes the news is slipping out with some and I then think tell all and if its another mc then they will at least know.

As above I'm still reserved. Husband is excited and pulling me along which is nice.

Am feeling good, been really tired last two days but definitely seem to be having more symptoms than I did last time and feel more pregnant even though it's still very early, I didn't really feel pregnant last time which I thought was strange compared to when I had my daughter. We ve told my parents and my sister as these would be the main people who I would turn to again, they was really pleased just airing a side of caution I think, not told anyone else yet and goner wait till I have a private scan at 7-8 weeks I think if we can, it's kind of nice just us knowing lol...

Where do you live B? Are you in the UK?.

Hope things are going well when are you having a scan are you waiting till 12 weeks, take care and hope things r going well xx
