JustKat - Hope you find something out soon, either way. Got my for you.
MrsRabren - With any luck, VA will come through like a lot of other states so that you two can get the same "happy ever after" as everyone else. As another older first time mom (I'm 37), I'm pulling for you.
AFM: Since it's been awhile, I'll also introduce myself. I'm Kirsten and my DH and I are TTC our first child at age 37 (DH is almost 39). My husband and I were married last April after being together for 13 years. Yes, you read that right. 13 years and just now getting married. It was a running joke through the whole wedding...lol. We were very careful for the entire relationship and just last year decided that we were ready for children and started TTC in August. This is my ninth cycle trying and my first cycle on Clomid.
DH just went in for his SA today and I'm already anxious for the results. My U/S is scheduled for next week (I'm on CD5). Hoping that everything comes back with good results.

Hi everyone! AF came today so I am jumping on this board and crossing my fingers for a Christmas baby!
DH and I are both in our 20s and this is our 6th month ttc after I had fibroids removed. This will be my first cycle on femara/letrozole so I am hopeful but nervous! First u/s tomorrow.
Baby dust to all!!

Just got the call. My CD28 labs showed 7.7 for progesterone. This is FAR better than the .3 I received for CD21. So, I ovulate later in my cycle.
Wondering if the spotting after sex meant anything last night, because nothing is happening today.
I'm smiling, and hopeful. At least I know I'm ovulating? That's a bonus for me. We're going to wait on the Clomid, and I've purchased some OP dip strips from earlypregnancytest.com so I can monitor day by day next month if this cycle is a bust.

there's quite a few new faces, and since we're all doing the intro thing, i might as well add :)
long story short, My DH and I have been married 4.5 years, together at least 13 years. I just turned 30, he will next month. TTC started Oct. 2012, went off BCP. no period, saw a doc in Feb 2013. Diagnosed with graves disease causing hyperthyroidism, couldn't get it under control. In July 2013 acted on a suspicion and was diagnosed also with celiac disease. Once I went gluten free my thyroid normalized and i went into remission. my cycles became more 'normal' by sept 2013. doc thinks i maybe wasn't even ovulating prior. after no luck i saw a fertility NP. Had a progesterone check in December and found out I'm way too low, have a luteal phase defect. January 2014 had a sonoHSG (looks good) and DH had a SA (he looked stellar!). Started clomid to help me 'O' stronger to see if progesterone would improve naturally. After a clomid cycle in Feb and in March, I still can't make progesterone worth a hoot. I'm 14/15DPO today. symptoms have really dropped off, nothing happening. last dose of progesterone suppositories was last night. IC HPT still BFN. so thinking i have to be out. hoping AF comes by saturday so i can get the next show on the road. part of me wants to take off the next cycle, but another part of me will go nuts if i'm not trying! I asked DH and he's up for trying still. this cycle he was depressed for some reason around O time, so he couldn't perform as much as i wanted him to. he thinks he'll be fine next cycle. Plan is likely same dose of clomid, 50mg, and starting progesterone supplementation asap after O. Pretty sure in a couple days I'll officially join you guys to try for a Xmas baby!

Bayday - yea for Christmas babies! If we're successful this round my edd would be Christmas day! I'm going to be real good so Santa doesn't leave me coal :)
Spartie - thanks for the support! I'm rooting for you too! I'm hoping the age factor won't come into play and my body plays along.
Firsttime - sorry to have to run into you here but sure am glad to still have your support. Your thoughtfulness of each of us does not go unnoticed! Xf that your body is finally leveled out and this is your month (and all of ours too!)
Only cd3 here. I usually ov cd16/17 so I'm in another kind of tww right now and it's almost as brutal as the other!

Hello ladies. Quick update...I'm 33 DH is 34. We've been ttc for a year. I went to my first RE appointment yesterday and she suspects that I have pcos. I'm just hanging out now waiting for af to start so I can go in on cd3 for bloodwork. Then cd8 I got in for hsg then after positive opk I go in for ultrasound to make sure I have follicles. She said I might be able to have success with clomid, but if it is really pcos then injectables work better. They are $45 a shot and I Need 15 shots. Ugh.

Hello ladies!
CD 1 today and EDD if we conceive is Dec. 26. We've been TTC for over 3 years, but this is only our 7th cycle trying due to problems with ovulation, which caused no AF for me for years. Thankfully I've been getting AF every month since November, so hopefully we actually have a chance at getting pregnant now.
Fingers crossed for lots of Christmas babies! :)
