Need support... Feeling frustrated after chemical pregnancy
I thought is would post out here as I am not sure who else to talk to.
My hubby an I have been TTC over the past 16 mos through a fertility clinic. He has LSC and I have an ANA factor that apparent causes inflammation and blood clotting. Dr has me on baby aspirin, co Q10, DHEA, and vitamins. He is on l-carnitine.
His father was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. 3 weeks later we got a , was so excited to tell him only to lose it 6 days later.
Before this I was ok getting the call for BFN. Although I don't think you ever get used to it. But now I feel like I lost the hard shell and it stings. This month I am 10 DPO and dreading going in for blood work. And in this last 2 days 2 more cousins announce they are preg.
I think this turned out to be a vent over questions but is there anyone out there that may have had the same treatment plan and been successful or any one else in the same boat? Would love to hear your story.
I praying next month is a BFP! Nice Christmas gift

Hi! I understand exactly what you mean about losing the "hard shell". I lost my first (and only) pregnancy at 10 weeks in April. We have been trying for almost 2 years now. Sometimes, when I think I might be pregnant, I find it hard to experience the sheer joy I had first time round. Of course, I haven't actually been pregnant since, but I am really hoping that I won't be too jaded about it.

I think when you hear those magical words you will still be just as elated.
My dr has me on baby asperine so that when we do get a positive again I can start on fragmin. This is suppose to help your body from rejecting. Maybe ask your doc if the asperine for you might help. (I'm just sort of thinking out loud)
I am 12 dpo I think having wierd cramping and severe hunger but no other signs and am afraid to go to test.
Hang in there girl our time is coming. How are you doing wih this cycle?

Thanks for that encouragement :)
So far this cycle I am doing great! It started rough with low estradiol and late ovulation, but now I am 14 dpo and my temperature is still high, no spotting and my breasts are really sore. Of course, I have had all these symptoms at this point on non-pregnant cycles! The big one for me is spotting. If I still have none by this evening I will start thinking more seriously about it. My period is due Friday, Sat or Sun. Probably Sat so if there is no spotting then I will test.

I am thinking happy thoughts for you,
I went early to my clinic for bloodwork and it came back neg. but I am having weird spotting so now I'm not sure. I will be testing from home tomorrow if I don't start my period in the am.
It's really nice to know there is someone else out there in the same place.
Thank you btw for dropping me a line.
Let me know how it turns out

Here's a thought,
Ask your dr if dhea and coQ10 might help. My dr says their clinic is having huge success with it and better quality eggs.
Pro side to it, I lost 10lbs my first 10days. I'm sure it was mostly water weight but it has stayed off.
I'm sorry for your disappointment. I started my period I think too. I am trying to remind myself; as long as there is a period and ovulation, there is always a chance. Who knows, maybe with the clomid you'll have twins.
Keep in touch

He he I keep thinking about multiples with the clomid recently. It could be a case of "It never rains but it pours"!!! I have been teaching about the multitude of dangers for both babies and mothers when there are multiples though, so definitely won't be hoping too hard for that!
If DHEA and co!10 make you lose weight I don't want them!!! I have so much trouble keeping weight on. I am at a good weight at the moment, but if I slip up in eating habits at all then I have problems. It is rather frustrating as I have PCOS but the usual recommendation for fixing it is losing weight - that doesn't work for me!! I haven't heard anything about those. I am rather at the whim of my fertility specialists though. We'll see how this cycle with more clomid goes!

I did clomid for 6 months last year with endometrium and put on almost 40 lbs. but my issue isn't PCOS. so if you are having problems keeping it on this might be an ideal medication.
I just spoke with a friend and she told me she got pregnant her first or second month on clomid. Similar story to yours. She has a beautiful baby girl
