I feel like I always respond right away whenever one of you lovely ladies posts something - you must think I have absolutely nothing else to do! I think I may be just a little TOO efficient at my job...I'm the secretary at a mortgage office so I get to spend most of my day at the computer haha. Seems I always finish my little duties quickly and end up spending the rest of my time stalking this website! And I know exactly how you feel about jumping at every email that comes through about our forum @MrsGenuineSunshine - can't get to it quick enough!

My cervix is usually pretty high, soft and open when I ovulate. Straightens out too, rather than being a little tilted. Usually by the next morning it's already dropped back down and turned firm again. It's taken a few cycles to really feel the differences, but I can usually tell when I'm getting close - even though some days it feels like the position and texture will change across just a few hours. The human body is a crazy thing!

Can't wait for my work day to be over so I can go pee on another OPK haha. I'm hoping I didn't miss my surge - last night's OPK was pretty freaking dark, but just shy of reading positive on the digi. This morning it was super light so it has me a little worried... To be honest, if I've missed it, we've only BD'd once since I got back from our work retreat, and that was this morning . I'm praying my butt off that I didn't ovulate yesterday and missed our window!!!!! Kinda freaking out a little bit right now, but I'm hoping I'm just being paranoid and that the OPK tonight will give me some good news .

It's so nice to be able to share all this stuff with you ladies - I know DH gets tired of hearing all this info and my random theories! Thank you so much for being so wonderful and supportive, I really appreciate it.

Meg, did you get a + after work yesterday? I'm keeping my that you will still get it, if I've learned anything it's that those damn OPK's enjoy messing with your head. Keep Bd'ing and I'm sure O will just come along. Hope you got your + last night tho.
I know what you mean about your DH getting sick of all the theories, mine is the same haha he's kind of resorted to "ok love, I trust you" haha. MEN.

MrsGenuineSunshine, you're 2dpo!!!!!!! ahhhh so exciting :) anything new and exciting today? I know it's still super early days but hey.... we can still obsess, right? Super glad to hear about your pineapple core eating, I must buy one today! must.not.forget.

AFM I finally got a + OPK last night, I got very dark ones after work and suspected that a + would be there soon so I held for 3 hours and bam, a clear positive.

I was so excited, I started dancing around my living room. Poor DH was definitely thinking that I'd lost it altogether. But here's my new worry (cos we've always got to have one, right?) We didn't BD Monday as DH was away but we BD'd Saturday and Sunday, and last night at like 11pm. But this morning when I woke my temps had gone up (see chart) and I got a negative OPK - it was FMU so I know that could be why but... did I maybe ovulate over night? if so, I'll have missed the egg won't I? Cos the swimmers from last night won't have made it on time?

I'm super grateful for you ladies I would go insane if I didn't have ye to tell me when to relax Thank you both for being so kind. Hope ye are having a great day so far.

OH NO!!! Both of you ladies have beat me to the punch now!! There's STILL no sign of a + OPK for me...and this is super strange, because even though my cycles are pretty irregular, I still normally ovulate between CD14 and CD20. My OPKs are telling me I'm nowhere near ready for the big O, and I'm on CD20 today . Looks like I'm just gonna have to wait it out at this point and stalk both of your TWW symptoms .

Em, it sounds to me like you still have pretty darn good BD timing to catch the egg. Even if you ovulated overnight, you still BD'd either right before or during O, so I'd say those little swimmers have one heck of a fighting chance!

Anything new with you @MrsGenuineSunshine? We're dying over here!

So happy for you ladies! You're in the home stretch for this cycle! Hopefully none of us will have to start another "CD1" forum for at least 9 months!!! we all make the cut this time around!

Hey Meg,

BOO, that egg is just making you wait. Come on egg, make it out!! I'm rooting for you :) I know it's annoying to be waiting and waiting and worrying but I just know you'll get there! Maybe it's making sure the egg is good and ready.

I got another positive OPK this afternoon when I got home from work, so obviously FMU just is a no go for me and OPK's so maybe it was a coincidence about the temp too? We BD'd this afternoon again for good measure. DH is going away again tonight until Friday so that was our last opportunity

Have you EWCM or anything like that?

@SootSprite I'm 100% that traveling threw off your O. I'm thinking it's one of those survival things left over in our bodies so that way back when we wouldn't conceiving when we were moving/going over seas/etc. I have hope that this is just going to be a really long cycle this month for you and that you'll be O'ing soon ! Hopefully May will be the lucky month for O so keep on testing!

@ELGtrying WOOOOHHOOOOO!!! on your TWO + OPK!! I KNEW it was going to happen! Just a matter of time! I think you BD'd with plenty of time to catch the egg, so now we wait! . That mean's you'll probably be 1 DOP tomorrow!

AFM I swore I wouldn't test until 11 DPO so I now have 9 days until I start testing . So next Friday, May 8 I'll take my first test. I have plenty going on at work and at home to keep myself busy, which I figured the less time I have to think about it, the better. Temp stayed the same, only dropped by .01 this morning. We had a cold front come through yesterday night.

CM dried up and all I've felt is abdominal pains here and there. This time instead of twinges, there's the kind of pain that makes you reposition in your chair, but they last only for a brief moment. Other random symptom is the skin on my face and chest have kinda freaked out. I have some hyper pigmentation where my skin looks red and flushed with some acne thrown in for good measure. It looks like a rash, doesn't feel like a rash, but I haven't changed anything in my routine or products so who knows.

I swear these things will drive you crazy if you think about them too long! Sending my prayers and love for both of you that this cycle is good luck!

Maybe you're right Em - hopefully it's a good sign that little egg is waiting this long to drop. The two times I've gotten pregnant I miscarried pretty early, and ovulated on CD14 and then CD17... No idea what caused those losses as I haven't done any fertility screening, but maybe the eggs just weren't quite ready? I don't know... Guess we'll see this time around if I O and something catches!

I've had EWCM pretty consistently for the past 2 weeks or so, but you know how hard it is to tell sometimes when you've been BDing haha . I'll test again tonight and see if anything looks promising. But on the bright side, at least I didn't O while I was away from DH, so now we have a fighting chance .

@MrsGenuineSunshine those are some pretty interesting symptoms already! It's crazy how in-tune you become with your body when TTC. And I don't think I'd be able to wait till 11dpo to test, you're a trooper!

AFM, temp spike this am, cervix bit lower, hard and cm is creamy so def no longer fertile. I need to stop reading articles online though because I've convinced myself it's next to impossible for me to end up pg :/ I haven't felt super fertile this month... and I'm wondering if the sperm even made it to the cervix.

Ladies, are you charting on this site? if so, can you make it visable to me? I'd love to be stalking you guys

Good afternoon ladies!

Em, I know what you mean about reading too many online articles trying to explain every little symptom or timing situation to see what your chances are... I've driven myself crazy many-a-time while over-researching. At this point, unless something really strange happens that I've never experienced before, I pretty much just rely on data I've recorded from past cycles. It's so hard to compare what your experiences are to other women when every cycle and symptom can be so completely different!

STILL no + OPK for me... this is starting to get really frustrating! I'll just keep testing I guess...not much else I can do right now .

I finally figured out how to get my current chart on my countdown page, so feel free to stalk!

Oh come on lil egg, what are u playing at? I definitely think it's making sure it's fully formed etc. I had an early mc too and I think it's the eggs fault (anyone's but mine ;) ) so Its a good thing that it's making sure it's ready to be fertilized. Apperently only 1/3 eggs can make it to be a full term baby (read that today, not sure how true it is - sure hope it's entirely NOT true)

You've def ovulate soon! I'll check your chart now :)

I hate working myself into a tizzy, cos I allow myself to get down in the dumps then thinking there is NO way I could be pregnant. Where there's a will there's a way though right? hehehe

2/3 of us on my previous forum got pregnant, those are killer odds eh? 3/3 this time.

Meg, just stalked your chart, you have been BUSY good on ya girl! I don't have much to advise on it BUT your temps have been the least erratic that they have been all cycle the past 3 days, mine did that right before ovulation for me, so hopefully that's a sign of things to come in the near future?

I'm meant to be going on a night out as dh will be finishing professional exams on the 15th and I'm HOPING to be able to say "oh no, don't feel like drinking tonight" cos I've gotten a haha. I won't tell DH until the 16th even if I do get pregnant because he'll get too excited and not be able to study.

Have you any nights out planned that you can use as a timeline?
