3 Days Past Ov April 1 -- Anyone with me?

Hi all! I'm just 3 days past ovulation and looking forward to riding the wave of this two week wait! LOL Trying not to obsess, but I decided a little obsessing is good. I had a chemical pregnancy last month, and it was hard to try again this month with the mix of worry and sadness. Trying again has been good for my heart.

My body seems amped up after last month! I have had some nausea, chills and other weird symptoms already. Maybe heightened progesterone...I've read a chemical pregnancy can sort of prime the fertility pump.

Anyone else already obsessing? Staying sane? Want to wait together?

Hey :) I'm 3dpo too and I am so bad for symptom spotting. I had a chemical pregnancy last year and no joy since then, but haven't really tried properly until this past month. So I'm like you - excited and nervous but I really don't want to get my hopes up because every month when AF arrives I find myself super depressed.

Have you any symptoms yet? are we mad to even look for symptoms? I've gotten to the stage where I think I'm mad for even thinking it's POSSIBLE that I could be Pregnant... at all.

Awww, I am so sorry for your loss! Virtual hugs!! I know how it can affect you...not only do you grieve for the loss, you doubt your body, and find a thousand creative ways to torture yourself.

Well, maybe I'm crazy, but I'm of the camp that early symptoms are real. I'm ultra sensitive to my body and knew two days past ovulation something was different last time. I think the symptoms pre implantation are probably much milder, but still there. I felt ovulation and implantation last month, within one day had full on nausea and some other symps, and I knew when the symptoms started to fade something was wrong. It was hard because my friends told me I was being neurotic, but sure enough, the miscarriage started with a day or so. Who knows? Maybe some of the times women have symptoms in the 2ww, there are little eggs that don't implant?

I am glad we have met! And good for you for trying again. I know its hard, but i hope you can enjoy it and let yourself hope. I almost talked myself out of even trying again, ever. Then i realized that it was the pain and fear talking. I've started thinking about a nursery and baby cloths, and all the fun stuff to keep me motivated and positive. Those of us who have been through the loss need it! And if a little obsessing gets us through, who can fault us? :)

*virtual hugs* :) You've hit the nail on the head with what you said about doubting your body etc, it's torture. I had convinced myself something was wrong with me so it's good to try again and hopefully get out of that mind frame.

I agree with you, I was the same when I was pregnant, I just knew. I had crazy dreams, and was exhausted, and like you I felt them begin to fade and I knew something was wrong. We must be very sensitive to hormone changes/changes in general that are happening in our bodies (has to be a good thing, right?) :) :)

This feels like it's going to be a long wait and I'm glad to have someone in the same boat who I can talk to who doesn't think I'm completely crazy :) <3

You mentioned you had nausea already this month? Is it bad?

I agree :) It is a good thing!!

So this month is weird for me -- after the chemical pregnancy my body is so off from its usual routine!! But so far I'm super hungry, have to eat or I feel nauseous, like last month this time. After implantation last month, I lost my appetite and could only eat little bits at a time. Also I've got a runny nose and (sorry tmi on the way) and a little bloody. Last month I had crazy acne, but nothing weird yet this month. I will say, it's my first cycle, so some of this could be my new normal, but I'm staying positive and hoping anyway!

So how about you??? :) :)

Ooooh that all sounds promising. Have you any tell tell signs that you're NOT pregnant? For me, if my bb's get sore I pretty much know I'm out (doesn't stop me thinking "what if" though)

Are you tracking Ov? If so, how?

This month so far I feel crampy (not unusual as every month I think I might be pg I feel crampy) But I had shooting pains in bb yesterday but so far, none today. Other than that nothing really, I woke up with a sharp pain in my uterus the night before last - no idea what that was. My main sign will be dreams I think, so every night I go to bed excited that I might have a really vivid dream and just KNOW that this is my month. None yet, but I live in hope.

Hugs!! Sorry about your loss - hope this is the cycle for you!!

I still don't know for sure that I didn't have a chemical last cycle. I had the weirdest symptoms, a very long LP, but no positive. Got AF on 17DPO, and even though we were TTA then, I was super sad.

This cycle we are officially TTC our first!!! It's so exciting, but also nerve racking. I'm with you! 3DPO today! I tried to be like "no, I won't obsess about this" and decided to not even look stuff online or any of that...but here I am :P I've had cramps since ovulation. Especially 2 days ago (so, 1DPO) after DTD with hubby, I had HORRIBLE cramps, just like AF! It was SO weird. I never even have ovulation pain (I've had it like a few times, and only on one side, and only for about 1 hour tops) - I have no idea what that was/is! I know it's supposedly "impossible" but I was half/hoping I was experiencing some sort of conception cramps, hehe :P

Today (and yesterday) I'm having somewhat tender breasts. Aside from last cycle, I never get this until about 2-3 days before AF. Last cycle by about a week after ovulation, my breasts were bigger, tender and VERY hard (still no idea what that was). I'm hoping that having tender breasts and mild cramping this cycle is a good sign!!!!

Baby dust to all of you!!

Awww!! I so hope its both of our month :) I have been a little twingy too -- that could totally be a symptom! My only warning that my period is coming is super moodiness two days before, haha. I used to get tons of pms symptoms when I was younger, but not so,much anymore (I'm 36).

I usually track ov with fertility awareness (ewcm mostly) and an ov test. I am usually super regular, thankfully. This month was def different though, plus I bought these cheap ov tests online and they were hard to read. How about you? :)

I love that you could tell by your dreams. That is just fantastic! I'm hoping they get more vivid every day :) Lucid dreams are so interesting to me!

@lauralf4 Welcome :) How exciting, congratulations on taking the step and deciding to TTC :) I really hope you get your BFP first time , that would be so awesome!

I know, it's so hard to not obsess and read into every twinge and movement :) I'm a newborn photographer and I even find myself asking clients where they bought their car seat/nappy bag etc in hopes that I'll be buying them soon too (I know I sound insane) haha

Are you tracking ovulation? Anything other than what you're used to is a good sign :) <3 FX for you

I track with EWCM too and CP but sometimes worry I've gotten it completely wrong. I think next cycle (If there is one hehe) I'll use Ov tests too just to even put my mind at ease. My cycle changed after my miscarriage too and it hasn't been as regular since.

Here's hoping you don't get moody this month ;)

Ya, it's so interesting. But with that said every morning I wake up and I'm like "was that vivid, maybe it was..." haha but that's just me hoping for something. When they're vivid I'll know... they're just crazy.

Hi Laura! Welcome to the board :) We just got started today, and we've both been through chemical pregnancies, too. For me, the period following my pregnancy was very painful. I would have known without a pos test that something was off. With such a long luteal phase, that definitely could have been the case for you, too. I am sorry you had to go through all that. :(

It sounds like you def have some good signs going this month!! I hope this is it for all of us!!!
