Spotting
This is just so crazy. Normally, I do not spot before a period, or frankly in the middle of my cycle. Ever. As I've said before, I had pink cm 4dpo. Brown spotting days 6,7,8,9, and some bright red spotting today. Now nothing. 4 days till AF. Just wondering what the HECK is going on here.

I have midcycle spotting nearly every cycle, starting about 4dpo, until about 8dpo. Then I get a break for a couple of days, and it starts again with pre-af spot.
I've researched and believe that mine is hormonally related, although my tests have always come back normal.
The shift from producing estrogen to create a follicle, to producing progesterone once it's released can cause some lining to shed.
The corpus luetum can also bleed a bit when an egg is released, taking a few days to reach the cervix.
Or, since this has never happened to you before...it could be implantation spotting.
