thats great. me too dh did his s.a. yesterday,and then my phone call came in to see the f.s. on march 14th. i have to get a blood test on day 19 of my cycle for lh andnthen go see the doc. im nervous and excited,i only hope that both of us are ok and that we can conceive as it has been 15 months of no bcp and nothing so far as in babies...

cjp, thats great news! Goodluck with all your tests, I hope they don't take too long to get the rsults back to you!

Aromatherapy, I have been wondering how you have been getting on. I'm glad dh has decided to get tested. Best of luck with it all.

thanks; I am hoping this will give us some answers or possibly treatments ? Or it could give us bad answers that we can't get pregnant but at least we would know for sure instead of trying and trying and nothing....I just hate feeling like I am soo old and hearing all the statistics with over 35 and ttc! It is mostly negative so I am hoping that it is something we can easily overcome.

Aromotherapy I am glad too that dh did the test for you as well! My dh left the office and said "see one in four people it is the man's issue" so he is open to the idea of fertility issues not just being women issues. I hope that you can get good results whether it is an answer or everything is ok! Let me know if you can when you find out your results I can compare with you what we hear....

CJP...I am glad the appointment went well. I asked about seeing a specialist last week and you responded. I am going to wait a little longer, but I have a question about the ovulation testing. I am on my second month of testing...do the specialist want to know if you are getting positives OPKs and ttc during that time? Just wondering what they want to know about OPKs and if I am following the right steps early on. Thks and good luck.

Funny you asked about that because when I went to my appt. I brought my little book / calendar that I write everything down in and she didn't even ask to look at it; she just asked what day was my last period (full flow began) and how long my cycles where on average (mine are 27 or 28) and when I got a pos. opk (what day in the cycle) Overall I have been taking notes in this calendar; what day I start AF, what day I get a pos. opk and what days we bd... just for my own info but now I am glad I did so that I could share that with her and they know I was doing it right and I could answer her questions... I would suggest you do the same to help you know about your cycle and how to answer any questions they might ask you as well! I hope that helps!
