7DPO LH test strip is + today?

Hi ladles,

We’ve been ttc 4 months since our miscarriage in August. I tracked ovulation with cheap test strips and clear blue digital, felt ovulation pain.
So the app recommends taking LH test to make sure it’s dropped back down which is has until today, 7DPO Cheap strip is + yesterday it was very negative. I know it’s too early to take a HPT I did and it’s negative. Anyone else ever experienced this? What was the outcome?
