Postive opk at 10 dpo

On my clearblue digital advanced opk I got a flashing smiley face at 9-10dpo.... but a negative pregnancy test. Does anyone have experience with this?

It is not uncommon to have a second surge few days before AF and some women always have it. Of course it is always possible for this to be an indicator that you’re pregnant since Opks often detect the hcg hormone. Maybe you’ll be having a bfp in the next few days! Good luck!

An OPK would not detect HCG before a pregnancy test. It is possible your rise in LH is either a true surge, and your previous was false or that AF is on her way

I am pregnant! The ovulation test picked up some sort of surge before a pregnancy test did!!! :)

Yes it’s totally possible for an opk to detect the hcg hormone even before a pregnancy test and I’ve seen it many times from other ladies of course since I’ve never been pregnant. There’s nothing standard with this, since opks are not meant to be used as pregnancy tests. No one really knows and tells for sure. It just happens!!!
